Progression is shaped by mission aligned partners and a diverse group of Proximity Stakeholders who help ensure that the companies featured each year are both commercially compelling and grounded in real climate need.

Proximity Stakeholders are nonprofits, government agencies, academics, and technical experts who have no financial interest in the companies being reviewed and who play a critical role in Progression’s Double IC model. Venture investors first evaluate applicants for scale and fundraising readiness, and then Proximity Stakeholders independently assess mission alignment, scientific credibility, and real world relevance.
